We invite you to explore the new Onecaribbean.org and we welcome your feedback!
This is the latest of the family of new CTO web sites to be launched. The new CTO member’s site Onecaribbean.org is now here and replaces the former corporate site with a host of new features and fresh functionality designed to make it the “virtual CTO” and CTO's window to its members and partners in Caribbean tourism.
With the new integrated “Google Search Engine”, finding information just got easier! You can search for thousands of documents like statistics or reports , and for information already on the site or within a collection of Caribbean and other global tourism sites, like the World Tourism Organization, PATA and others. Try it - it's there when you need it conveniently located on the top of every page on the web site.
The new CTO Tourism TV Channel can show 1) videos from CTO's conferences and workshops as they happen, 2) recordings of past conferences or workshops and 3) videos from our member countries. All you have to do is send your videos on DVD to Sharon Coward at CTO Barbados. Send her an email: scoward@caribtourism.com
The site now incorporates RSS, podcasts and blogs allowing for more interactivity from and among CTO members and tourism partners.
CTO has partnered with FotoSeeker to provide high resolution, compelling photograpsh of our member countries and their attractions.
The site has a new look and feel and navigation, with many new categories of information and content. No more 'filing cabinets' to wade through to get to the content you want.
The Consultancy Database, a new feature, allows CTO members to both showcase their expertise and find consultants for tourism projects. Coming on stream soon is a Caribbean Tourism Job Centre, where you can search for jobs in the tourism and hospitality fields.
Soon to come - A new Travel Trade section will soon be live designed to promote and encourage a dynamic relationship between the global Travel Trade and the CTO members including National Tourism Organisations, Caribbean Travel Industry, Travel Media and other stakeholders.
The new Onecaribbean.org has been completely designed and built from new based on the Web 2.0 methodology and with its new and exciting content is a very interactive resource and information centre for CTO members, tourism professionals, the media and tourism HR practitioners and educators. It is a site for you to participate in and to use actively, and provides information about what we do, latest news and information and is the catalyst to build contacts, learn and share information and develop ideas for the benefit of our Caribbean destinations, members and for the future development of Caribbean tourism.
