From 3-5 October 2008, the Suriname Tourism Foundation will host for the very first time the International Suriname Tourism Fair at the Torarica Hotel in Paramaribo. This year’s theme is “Suriname, where the Amazone meets the Caribbean”.
The main purpose of this event is to facilitate networking among both local and international providers of tourism and related products and services. Participants from the Caribbean, the Amazon, Europe and North-America will be attending. The opening day of the event is reserved for trade, press, associates and invitees.
On the second and third day the fair will be open for the general public. Participants will be facilitated to present their tourism products and services to the visitors. They can also get a taste of our local cuisine and enjoy varied cultural shows. You too can contribute to these activities.
